Board of Supervisors and PG&E money

The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors will meet at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 23. They are scheduled to discuss the findings from Berkeley Law's Center for Law, Energy and the Environment (CLEE), the group they engaged to study how best to spend the money allocated for vegetation management from the $149M PG&E settlement. The board had decided to spend $25M of the settlement to fund vegetation management, and looked to CLEE for help. CLEE submitted a report and other documents that outlined their suggestions on how to direct vegetation management in Sonoma County as well as how much of the $25M to spend in the near-term.
